want to help you!
The Band and Orchestra Department has been a fixture at Northridge Music
for our entire 28 years in business. We started our business focusing on
serving the school music community; forging ties with the local school
districts and music teachers. Our business has expanded greatly over the
past decades, with many new departments being added, but our commitment
to school music has remained unchanged.
We
have a number of special things we do for our band and orchestra customers. We have a large selection of student, step-up, and professional instuments available for
purchase. We have a very extensive rental-purchase pro
gram.
We have one of
Northern California's largest and
best on-site repair facilities.
The quality of band and orchestra instruments can vary greatly from two
factors: the most important is the manufacturer; and the second is the
on-site adjustment and set-up. We offer a large variety of instruments
from the following quality
manufacturers: Bach; Gemeinhardt; Selmer; Yamaha; Leblanc; Jupiter;
William Lewis, We also have a unique program for purchasers in addition to the standard
factory warranties: the 30-day checkup. Every instrument that we sell is
guaranteed to be adjusted to factory specifications as part of the sale.
In addition, we also offer you a free additional set-up to be sure that
your instrument conforms to factory specs and your specific playing
needs. All you need to do is to bring the instrument back to us within
30 days of purchase for this free addition
al service.
Our rental program has allowed thousands of families the opportunity to rent an
instrument for their young musicians, and apply the rental payments to
the purchase of that instrument (or a brand new one). Up to nine months
of rental can apply to band instruments.
Rental
prices are between $22.00 to $50.00 for most wind instruments (from used
to new) and between $20.00 to $30.00 on string instruments.
Our rentals include repair and maintenance coverage. All instruments are tested and
adjusted by our service technicians prior to rental, and we take care of
problems if they develop at no additional charge to the customer.
