The Northridge Music guitar and amplifier department is focused on helping you find the right gear. We will listen to your needs and find the best product for you. We have 3 rooms for demo's: 1 for acoustic guitars, 2 for electric guitars, basses and amps. Please feel free to bring a guitar to audition an amp or effect. That's the best way to make sure the sound is right.
Guitars are inspected and set up when they arrive, plus we offer a FREE 30 DAY CHECKUP* with every instrument sold.
We stock guitars and amplifiers for the first time player up to the finest available. We are a FENDER CUSTOM SHOP MASTER DEALER, GIBSON CUSTOM and HISTORIC dealer, and we carry some custom guitars from TOM ANDERSON GUITARWORKS. MODERN VINTAGE AMPLIFIERS is a new handmade tube amplifier you need to hear or the best in "British" tone.

The 30 DAY CHECKUP consists of:
* Adjusting the guitar to your individual
playing style.
* Raise or lower the action
* Set the intonation
* Restring the guitar
* Adjust pickup height
* Adjust the truss rod/Neck projection
* Set Tremolo
* Fretwork as needed
